A group of students from our school had abusy Saturday on Da Feng Farm in the suburb.That day they got up at 6 o’clock,cycled to thefarm and worked until lunchtime,helping collecteggs,milk cows and feed pigs.After a simplelunch,which,they said,tasted extremelydelicious,these hard-working students went on towater vegetables and pick fruits.By sunset,theywere exhausted but really happy.
One student said it was an educationalexperience she would never-forget.Wei Min,another participant,said through the activity he’slearned about the hardship of farmers andrealized the importance of valuing food.
